London has the lowest regional D-or-below share in the ten-region analysis at 44.01%, but its fabric indicators look very different.
Walls and windows
Poor/Very Poor wall efficiency is recorded on 56.00% of London records and Poor/Very Poor window efficiency on 17.06%, both unusually high in the regional comparison.
Property mix matters
60.48% of London records are Flats and 32.27% are Houses. That composition changes how roof and loft fields should be interpreted.
The loft-depth result
Among London House/Bungalow records with a known numerical loft depth, 46.99% are at or below 100 mm. Islington records 55.34%, Kensington and Chelsea 54.66% and Camden 53.62% on the same applicable known-depth denominator.
Solar and multi-element evidence
London Solar PV: Yes is 0.329%, the lowest regional share. Kensington and Chelsea (2.83%) and Westminster (2.78%) lead the qualifying Triple Poor/Very Poor + D-or-below ranking.
