This policy explains how the EPC Atlas website handles personal information submitted through the public website. It covers website and demonstration enquiries; it does not describe the separate data-processing arrangements that may apply to a customer's licensed EPC Atlas software or datasets.

Information you provide

When you request a demonstration, we may collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, region, campaign interests, information about your prospecting process and any message you choose to send.

How the information is used

We use enquiry information to respond to your request, arrange or tailor a demonstration, discuss EPC Atlas products and services, maintain basic business records, protect the website from abuse and improve our sales and support process.

Marketing

Submitting the demonstration form does not, by itself, subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. If separate marketing communications are introduced, they should use an appropriate opt-in or other lawful process and provide a way to stop receiving them.

Storage and service providers

Enquiry information may be stored on the website hosting environment and, when email delivery is configured, transmitted through the email service used to receive the request. Service providers may process information on our behalf to provide hosting, security, email or other necessary business services.

Retention

We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, related commercial discussions, record-keeping, dispute handling or other legitimate business requirements. Information that is no longer required should be securely deleted.

Security

The website uses technical controls intended to reduce unauthorised access and automated abuse. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so sensitive information should not be submitted through the general enquiry form.

Cookies, analytics and technical information

The website offers optional Google Analytics 4 measurement to help EPC Atlas understand how visitors use the site, which pages are useful and whether website improvements are working. Google Analytics is not loaded unless you choose Accept analytics in the site's cookie controls. If you reject optional analytics, the Analytics tag is not started.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga and related identifiers to distinguish visits and measure website activity. You can change your choice later using the Cookie settings control shown on the website. The hosting provider may also create standard server logs containing technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and timestamps for security and operational purposes.

Analytics information is used for website measurement and improvement, not for advertising on this site. Google may process analytics information as a service provider under its applicable terms and data-protection arrangements.

Your choices and rights
